My mission

I want all singers to feel confident in their ability to use and protect their instrument — their voice.

I want to help you learn how your voice works, how to recover from injury and how to protect your voice in future.

Eimear McCarthy Luddy is the first Irish person to complete advanced training in voice science (also called vocology) at the National Centre for Voice and Speech in Salt Lake City and she remains committed to expanding her training by completing regular CPD courses.

She qualified from the Royal Irish Academy of Music with a Masters in Music Performance where she also conducted research investigating attitudes and practices toward vocal health in Ireland.

As a singing teacher she maintains a busy practice of young students and professional voice users across many genres. She also presents voice science and vocal health education workshops internationally.

Eimear is currently a guest lecturer at the Royal Irish Academy of Music where she created Ireland’s first undergraduate vocal health module. She is also a Vocal Health First Aid Assessor for Vocal Health Education, and has presented as a vocal health trainer with the British Association for Performing Arts Medicine.

I want to learn more.

I’m worried about my voice.

I want to stay up to date.

I want to make a booking for a personalised vocal health assessment, or to reach out to you about speaking at my event.
